Grayson J. Guzman, MD is originally from the Midwest and has chosen to practice medicine in the East Valley specializing in obstetrics, gynecology and women's health. The son of two obstetrician/gynecologists, he has followed in their footsteps in devoting his life to the betterment of women's health.
Dr. Guzman attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology as well as his Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He then completed his residency training in obstetrics, gynecology and women's health at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. His training encompassed extensive management of both routine and high-risk pregnancies as well as the most up-to-date surgical procedures such as advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, global endometrial ablations, and sling procedures for stress urinary incontinence. During his residency training, Dr. Guzman earned several awards for excellence in medical student education and was honored with the Donald W. Cowherd, MD Award for three consecutive years as well as the Saint Louis University Hospitals Resident Educator of the Year in 2006. He continues to remain involved in medical student education and participates in preceptorships.
Dr. Guzman is committed to offering state-of-the-art techniques in women's health services. Toward that end, Dr. Guzman has been certified as a minimally invasive daVinci® robotic surgeon and offers this surgical modality for advanced gynecologic laparoscopic procedures.
He remains active in leadership positions within health care and has been appointed Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. Additionally, he has recently provided expert opinions for both FOX 10 News and NBC 12 News.

Goodman & Partridge, OB/GYN in August 2006, and has since enjoyed the opportunity to care for women and their families in the East Valley.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Guzman enjoys travelling with his wife Kara, spending time with their twin boys and playing with their 11-year-old Dachshund-mix Milo. In addition, Dr. Guzman likes to think of himself as a foodie, but sadly proves to be an amateur at best. He also enjoys music, art, and drama and was once a thespian of sorts in a former life; again, an amateur at best.
