Dr. Chijioke "Chiji" Offor received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Baylor University in Texas, and then went on to get her Doctorate of Medicine from James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Franklin Square Hospital Center in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2009. During her residency, she was Berlex Best 2nd year Teaching Resident in 2007, and Resident of the Year for Surgical Skills in 2009. She has been practicing since 2009 in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Dr. Offor jokes that she is not actually "from" anywhere...her parents are Nigerian, but she never spent more than 4 or 5 years in any one place. Her family moved around quite a bit. She loves Arizona, and is glad to be moving back here. Dr. Offor and her husband have a 2 year old son. She loves to travel, and tries to get at least one good vacation in a year. Most recently, they went to Hawaii and loved it. Dr. Offor is a big fan of Thai and Indian food and will take recommendations for good restaurants.
